Speed Queen Laundry was bought over by the current owners in 1999 as a small laundrette. Over the years Speed Queen Laundry expanded on a yearly basis to what is known today as Aqua Laundry. Speed Queen Laundry bought their own premises in 2007 in Platinum Business Park, Brackenfell and had a name change from Speed Queen Laundry to Aqua Laundry 24/7 in 2014. All the work we do is SANS 10146 compliant and we make use of SABS laboratory tested chemicals.
Aqua Laundry offers a 24/7 service, 365 days a year. We collect and drop from Cape Town, Sea Point, Stellenbosch, and Somerset West to Paarl. We have a delivery fleet of 5 delivery vehicles of a carriage of 13 ton, all consisting of tracker systems. We specialize in Guest houses, Hotels, Restaurants, Caterers, Clinics, Golf clubs etc.
The laundry is equipped with a 360® view camera system of the premises, installed to all management cell phones, and is monitored 24/7. A supervisor is present at all times. All linen that has been collected as well as the linen on the premises is insured.

Aqua Laundry Laundering Process
Aqua Laundry collects the soiled linen, as previously arranged with clients and then transport it to the premises. Firstly linen gets checked for any damages or stains before being separated according to colour and type of material. If any damages or stains are found, Aqua Laundry will contact the client before any treatment is done on that certain linen. Linen then gets counted by washer to see if it agrees with client's collection slip.
Linen then gets laundered, sterilised, dried and ironed and if necessary minor repairs can be done if arranged. Linen that has been worn through, i.e. towels will be treated with a booster if needed. If any linen are founded with stains after it has been ironed, the stains will be treated.

Linen will be counted again and compared with clients collection slip before being wrapped and packed before returning to the client.

Aqua Laundry Equipment
Aqua Laundry consist of seven high speed wash extractors, all of them connected to a dosing pump system for the chemicals and an installed washing system, thus making sure all linen is washed to perfection. We also have domestic washing machines for guest laundry.
We have 12 tumble dryers, all equipped with electronic timers, for protection of linen and to ensure linen doesn't stay in dryers too long.
The laundry also have 3 roller irons, some equipped with the latest technology, making sure linen can't be damaged to ensure a longer lifespan by using steam. Laundry bags can be bought from us for your laundry.
